I absolutely LOVE doing school visits! Connecting with students and sharing my journey as a writer is deeply meaningful to me. It's a measurable way that I can inspire our future authors.

Inspirational presentation with a
'Choose your own ending' creative writing exercise.
Middle School Visits
Informative presentation with a creative writing exercise.
I taught story structure and then students wrote their own short story.
Fees / guidelines
Half Day Options: 2-4 hours
Local visits (50 miles or less from Pflugerville, TX). All presentations typically last 40 to 60 minutes with Q&A and giveaways. I can adapt for shorter timeframes as needed. I love to hear from teachers and librarians regarding subjects they would like to discuss. Signed books are available for purchase $10 each.
Author Awesomeness + Write your own Campfire Story
Small groups; up to 60 students. Presentation 40 to 60 minutes. I can do multiple student groups.
Life of a Writer + 'Choose your own Ending' writing exercise.
School assembly: no minimum number of students but don't break the fire code, lol.
Virtual School Visit
15 to 60 minutes of virtual interaction where we discuss forming your own writing club, identify types of short stories, story structure, and then students get to write their own short story. Handouts included.
Full Day Options: 5-8 hours
